To Emissions or Not To Emissions That is the Question?
Douglas Ernst

Have you really ever wondered what are emissions? Most people will say that emissions are pollution. OK, but what makes up that pollution and how do we get rid of it? I’m going to tell you in a nice short explanation as to what causes emissions and what we can do about it. But before I do, I’m warning you that the information you are about to receive is going to make you very angry and you are going to want answers as to Who, How, and Why.

Emissions are mainly unburned fuel! Unburned hydrocarbons can be burned as fuel. Since we rely on automobile transportation over the past several decades has resulted in a dramatic decline in our nations air quality. Over 50% of all US air pollution is generated by motor vehicles. Motor vehicles generate 75% of Carbon Monoxide, 50% Oxides of Nitrogen, and 40% of volatile organic compounds. What is causing this pollution? Very simply, incomplete combustion results in exhaust emissions.

“Perfect” Combustion occurs when:

Fuel (Hydrocarbons) + Air (Oxygen + Nitrogen) >> Carbon Dioxide + Water + Unaffected Nitrogen
I hate to clue you in but there is no such thing as “Perfect Combustion” in the real world!

When typical engine combustion occurs:

Fuel + Air>> Unburned Hydrocarbons + Nitrous Oxides + Carbon Monoxide + Carbon Dioxide + Water

Lets take a closer look at these pollutants so we understand them better.

Hydrocarbons (HC)
Composed of fuel that did not burn in your engine or partially burned. Hydrocarbons in the presence of sunlight & Nitrogen Oxides react to form Ground-Level Ozone. FUELbuster can actually significantly reduce this dangerous smog-causing compound. This pollutant will cause Eye irritation, coughing, wheezing and can lead to permanent lung damage

Nitrogen Oxides (NOx)
Under high pressure and temperature conditions in the engine, Nitrogen and Oxygen atoms in the air react to form various Nitrogen Oxides, Nox. Nox also contributes to the formation of ozone and acid rain. This gas is extremely deadly and is 16 times more poisonous than Carbon Monoxide.

Carbon Monoxide (CO)
This is a product of incomplete combustion and occurs when Carbon in fuel is only partially burned rather than completely burned to form CO2. In urban areas, motor vehicles are responsible for 90% of the CO in the air. This deadly gas reduces the flow of oxygen in the bloodstream and is dangerous to people with heart disease. FUELbuster can completely eliminate this gas.

Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
Although this is the by-product of perfect combustion, motor vehicles emit large amounts of CO2. This gas has the potential to trap the earths heat and add to the so-called global warming.
The catalytic converter was introduced in 1975 when Hydrocarbons and Carbon Monoxide was becoming a major emission problem. The purpose of the catalytic converter was to convert the Carbon Monoxide and Hydrocarbon into Carbon Dioxide and Water. It was at that point in time what they thought was the solution to the CO & HC problem. The problem with the catalytic converter is now they rely on the unburned fuel to be converted into CO2 & H2O by the catalytic converter and not by trying to burn the fuel more efficiently like FUELbuster does. If we magnetize fuel it not only increases combustion efficiency but, drastically reduces the CO & HC leaving little or no CO & HC to be converted in to CO2. The end result is less CO2 in the air we breath. The only good thing about the catalytic converter was the elimination of leaded fuel.

Ground Level Ozone
You probably have heard the government report in some cities in the hot summer days on the air quality and often warn people to stay inside when the air quality is bad. What does this mean? Ground Level Ozone is a major component in what we know as smog. Ground Level Ozone is different from the ozone layer in the upper atmosphere, which filters out harmful solar radiation. Smog is mainly produced by what we call evaporative emissions. It is produced in the atmosphere when Hydrocarbons combine with Nitrogen Oxides in the presence of sunlight. Evaporative emissions occurs in several ways. Here are a few to mention:

Hot summer days cause fuel to evaporate
Hot engine & the exhaust system of a running car heat up the fuel
The engine remains hot after the car is shut off continues gasoline evaporation
Refueling your vehicle causes gas vapors to escape into the air.

The health effects from Ground Level Ozone are extremely damaging to the body. In the body, ozone reacts with lung tissue. It can inflame and cause harmful changes in the breathing passages, decrease the lungs working ability, and cause coughing and chest pains.

So what is the government doing to improve emissions levels in the US? They are oxygenating the fuel to reduce vehicle emissions. Oxygenating fuel occurs when they add alcohols or ethers to the gasoline. Methanol is CH3OH with the atomic weight of 32. Oxygen has an atomic weight of 16. So if we divide 16/32 = 50%. This means that methanol by weight contains 50% oxygen. If you were to power your car on pure Methanol, your mileage would drop by at least 50%. This is due to the fact that 50% of the space occupied by the fuel is now occupied by oxygen. Oxygen by itself can’t burn only Hydrocarbons can be combusted. The use of oxygenated fuels will result in a decrease in mileage. Therefore the baseline for calculating fuel savings will change depending on what type of oxygenated fuel is used.

In closing do we have other options? YAHOO, you always have other options! It’s called magnetics. Magnets when applied to a fluid acts as a catalyst. A catalyst is defined as the changing the rate of a chemical reaction by the addition of a small substance, which is unchanged at the end of a chemical reaction. So when the magnet is applied to the fuel it does alter the nature of the chemical reaction. The end product of combustion gets closer to the “ideal” or “stoichiometric. The magnet is changing the end result of the combustion of fuel but, the magnet is still the same substance, it’s “catalytic.” So when FUELbuster is clamped on your fuel line something magical occurs that not only improves environment but also provides gasoline savings through the proper “stoichiometric” combustion of fuel.

So I ask you the question, To Emissions or Not To Emissions That is the Question? The answer is simple of course, Not To Emissions by using FUELbuster Technology. Who is going to save us from the Special Interest who only cares about their own greed for more money and power? Don’t you think it’s about time we all joined together to stop the suppression of Affordable and Effective products to help us solve the problems that Special Interest has caused and we have been forced to live with?

Help us standup to these forces and we can all live a much healthier and prosperous lives.
