Friction Buster is a patented proprietary blend of
organic and renewable plant based materials resulting in
a long chain molecular product that weighs 11 pounds per
gallon (oil weighs 7).
Friction Buster does not adversely affect the
additive packages of today's high performance oils.
Transported to metal surfaces by oil, Friction Buster
allows metal surfaces that are in dynamic contact to
burnish (polish) each other instead of wearing, thus
allowing the oil to perform more effectively. Though not
a detergent, the nature of Friction Buster is
such that the accumulated sludge will disintegrate, and
eventually the engine will be cleaned of carbon and
sludge.
Friction Buster contains no PTFE, silicones,
metals, petroleum distillates, solvents, and graphite,
plastics or sulfur derivatives. It is compatible with
all known conventional and synthetic lubricants.
This material is ideal for all internal combustion
engines either gasoline or diesel auto, truck, tractor,
boats, ships, or anywhere lubrication is required.
Protects Bearing
Surfaces During Cold Starts
70-80% of wear to an engine occurs during cold starts
when lubrication is most needed. When engines shut down,
the hot oil is thin and drains away from the bearings
and other friction intense areas. With Friction Buster
added to the oil, it stays in place at shutdown due to
the high film strength of the treated oil.
What is meant by cold starts? They are starts of engines
that haven't run for at least four hours. That is
virtually every start in cold weather. Upon shutdown,
the hot oil quickly drains down into the oil pan leaving
the bearing surfaces unprotected.
Reduces Friction and Friction Related Heat
Friction Buster actually reduces friction by treating
the bearing surfaces. As they scrub against each other,
the surfaces burnish (polish) each other instead of
wearing. With the polished bearing surfaces and high
film strength of the treated oil, friction and friction
related heat are greatly reduced.
How does Friction
Buster work?
As the engine is run with treated oil, the cylinder
walls and rings become polished with closer fitting
surfaces
The treated oil with Friction Buster has a higher film
strength and stays in place much better than oil. This
creates an even tighter seal increasing the compression
and reduces blow-by gases
By using Friction Buster in engine oil, the engine is
being cleaned at the bottom and top. The hard carbon
build-up in the top engine is gradually removed and
blown out the exhaust
These three Benefits combined result in a cleaner more
efficient running engine with greatly reduced emission
pollutant.
